All-New 2025 Mazda CX-70 Set To Debut January 30

• Based on the European market CX-60, the Mazda CX-70 will feature a wider body than its European counterpart.

2025 CX-70: Details So Far

Originally planned for a 2023 release, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 will release stateside on January 30th, 2024. Not much is known about the new two-row Mazda SUV, but here’s what we know so far.

In terms of both performance and size, the Mazda CX-70 falls between the CX-50 and CX-70, so it’s expected to start at around $38,000.

Power and Performance

According to Mazda documents filed with the California Air Resources Board, the Mazda CX-70 will be equipped with a turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six and a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder plug-in hybrid. Performance is unknown, but expect similar performance to the CX-90 as it uses the same engine under the hood.

Fuel Economy

Although the CX-70 uses the same engine as the CX-90, expect better fuel economy. After all, the CX-70 is a smaller vehicle than the top-of-the-line CX-90.
